Shara Nickell

Shara had spent fifteen years as a published photojournalist and still photographer as well as exhibiting in fine art photography. More recently, she served as Photography Appraiser on one of the largest photographic collections to be appraised. The Magnum Project is a collection of nearly two hundred thousand photographs from the archives of world class photo agency Magnum. The collection will find its permanent home at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas. She also spent ten years in project management working in the technology sector as a contract consultant and business analyst.

In 2002 while in Austin, TX she was able to revisit her interest in filmmaking and began working on local independent film projects. Through her smart planning and hard work in the industry she was able to quickly establish herself as a go-to producer, and it was this reputation that brought her to Class Clown Pictures, where she is an active Producer on several properties.

She has had the pleasure of working with several awarded writers, directors, and cinematographers on numerous productions to include features, documentaries, television pilots, shorts, commercial and new media projects. Shara is currently working on development for a feature film in Austin, TX.
